Engineers Hero Ferrari not unlocking

Done 15 low intensity combat zones
And I get nothing from that enginner : no message, nothing.

If this is fixed, why am I still unable to unlock that engineer with 15 low CZ dones ?

With full game restart ?

My memory is flaky, but I think that's a known bug, the codex doesn't show the right amount...? Did you count them by hand? Also I've heard in the past that CZs may or may not count correctly if you don't use the Frontline shuttle. Also Also, do a relog to be sure. I think most of the engineer invites only show up after a relog.

But again... my memory is flaky.

Yes I wrote 10 little marks on a sheet of paper.

I'm gonna do 10 more, do 10 screenshots of the complete CZ and submit a ticket.

I'm also going to do those 10 more in 10 different CZ zones to be sure they are totally separate.

Submiting a support ticket (not a bug report on the issue tracker!) is probably a good idea. I guess the support agents can see that you fulfilled the requirements and unlock her for you.l

Could be one of those recurring bugs - the bug with Hero refusing to unlock happened in the past at least twice

An annoying bug. Support agents have in the past manually unlocked. But, you only need to participate and not win. In the past the relog worked, if not, do some more missions. Good practice. You should be able to use your own ship.

Opened a ticket. I'm at 17 done with 17 victories and no unlock.
And PC had nothing better to do than shutdown/crash as the end of latest CZ so I'm now on a station, without a docked ship. And no idea where that ship went.

Why is this still bugged? Just completed '10 surface conflict zones' and no dice, no engineer unlock. Odyssey released over 3 years ago and yet this engineer still can't be unlocked? What is going on.

3 restarts later, invite appeared.

I used the Frontline shuttle for all 10 of mine a couple weeks ago. Invite appeared after relog.

My suggestions if you haven't tried/done it:

  • Only use Frontline to go to the CZs.
  • Do all the CZs at the same location, for the same faction.
  • Win the CZ.
