Running an i5 3690k@3.9ghz/970gtx/8gigglebits of ram myself and my Dk2 performs almost flawlessly. The PC you're looking at is quite stunning. I can't say much about the performance come CV1, but if you plugged a Dk2 into that thing you would be cutting through space like butter in no time.

Just make sure everything checks out before you buy!

Xene, your pc is well prepared for consumer VR in 2016. And if you want to boost it further, get a new GPU later in 2016, when next gen comes.

you're fine, keep this rig until the Vive comes out and try it. If a 980 can't do VR decently it's nvidia who is messed up and not your computer. Your only option for more power is to get a Titan X or SLI 980ti cards, you really do have about the #3 video card on the market.

if you're asking about whether that PC is worth $1800, the answer is probably not no just price the components individually and check dude

Well I went an did it xD

Not that exact pc as I found another guy selling one with a moniter an stuff to.

This one has a 3370k i7 and 4gb gtx980 so thats roughly the same performance? 12gb ram

Now i gotta wait till vive or consumer oculus are released DX

OH ALSO
For controllers which would be better? The saitek x52 pro (which advertised for ED ) or the x55? I can find both around the same price secondhand nearby. But i was thinking maybe the 52 would be better cause i think its supposed to be like the one you see in cockpit?

I can not recommend buying a second hand controller. The saitek controllers do tend to wear out over time. The longest I've had a brand new one last is 6 years, but I'm fairly gentle with them. You have no idea how much wear and tear is on a used one. As far as which one, I've always loved the x52 because it fits my hand like a glove.
