Hey, how about we add an auto destination button to some of the missions?

So if you get side-tracked during missions, i.e. tracking an USS. When you select one of your missions in the transaction tab, you get a little pop-up that says "route plotted, confirm, yes or no". Something to that effect. Just a thought.

I actually thought the same thing while playing this morning. Why do I need to look up the system name, switch to the galaxy map, type it into the search box and then click plot route? Well, because implementing auto select in the transmissions tab is quite a low priority right now I guess, and rightly so.
But it would be a nice quality of life improvement at some point.

OMG, people, how hard is it to check your mission target and then chose it in the nav section? Its literally 2 clicks away! Its just embarassing!

That's not 'using your brains', it's just more clicking.

I agree with the OP in some way, but perhaps not completely. I would like a mission to have a link to the system in the galaxy map, at which point I can then choose the preferred routing method (fuel saving or fastest), if at all.

With a route already plotted, its easy enough as it is to re-select it and continue on your way, regardless of how many times you are sidetracked, because it has the route plotted icon next to it in the left nav screen.

The problem here is (imo) that my memory isn't what it used to be.. I grab a mission for LP 253-21
Head off to the galaxy map and see LP 254-21, LP 253-12 etc etc etc.. Of course, those are easy ones... but some of the names are a little more complex than that ;)
