Well. here I was just pootling around in my quiet part of the galaxy when I noticed that the traffic at my star port (I say 'my' because it's become a home from home so to speak). just shot up from
about 2 or three ships on average to about 30 or so in the last 24 hrs.
I thought there's summat goin' on 'ear, so I looked for any clues on the Galnet board and sure enough there was some activity in the Upaniklis system which is exactly 51.24Ly from my 'home' system. (As a side note, a quiz if you like, which system could it be that I call 'home'.)
Anyway, I trotted over to that system (Upaniklis) as I was curios as to what was going on, docked at the main port and checked the through flow of ships in the last 24 hours. It seems there was approximately a few hundred ships!
When I looked at the Galnet board again all reference to that system had disappeared so I'm in the dark as to what was going on. This was a few days ago, and the traffic has now reverted to a low count. So....does anybody know what was happening there?
