General / Off-Topic hey metalheads, please listen

Off topic from my heart: you're a metalhead and like true oldschool heavy metal ?

Try the underground tip: Steelpreacher

Studio-sample "Devilution"
Studio-sample "The Wild Hunt"
Studio-sample "B|tchcraft"

...and the legendary video on Youtube: Hell Bent For Beer

Info/declaration:
I have no relation to the band - I'm simply a metalhead and fan.
They make awesome metal - but also they have no label and no pr-support. So they are unknown.
Everything they do is payed by themselves.
Support metal (musicians in general) - if you like the music don't download illegal mp3s - buy the CDs.
All other is killing innovative music.

I like metal.

Power metal.

Especially metal covers of non-metal songs that come from weird stuff.

This is genuinely one of my favourites.

No really.

Then looking at my forum ID, are you surprised?

Good and bad.

Nice energy on the instrumental side. Reminds me somewhat of Judas Priest and Hammerfall.

The vocalist isn't bad, but he's not terrific either. Not world class, but I'd listen to him on a gig.

Lyrics (without reading them, just what I picked up on the first listen), decent on The Wild Hunt and Devilution.

The bad.

B|tchcraft was cringe-worthily bad. The misogynistic macho bull is a painful callback to the seventies, and does these boys no favours. I didn't even finish that track, and it pretty much killed my interest in looking up any more tracks from them.

Other than the last part, thanks for the heads up. Decent metal.

I'll trade you one from the short lived band Teräsbetoni (Finnish for reinforced concrete). I think this is the first track they ever released:

Taivas lyö tulta (The Sky Strikes Fire)

The vocalist has an amazing voice IMO. He's not even close to giving his best in this early track.

PS. You can perhaps tell that they are slightly taking the about the ultra-serious machismo of the Heavy Metal genre

Those where the only songs in high quality, that I've found in the net - instead of BC you should listen to "Too old for dying young" from Steelpreacher when you've the chance - it's a song dedicated to a dead friend about the speed of life - really great
I respect your opinion about this song (BC). I for myself like this song - but while listening I always have in mind, this is just like calling the devil in other songs (e.g. like "Number of the Beast" from Iron Maiden and many other songs from other bands) :

no one *really* should praise Mr. 666 (hey, I'm an atheist and for me "bridge of death" from Manowar is a awesome song [cool], but's it's just a song ) and even so no one should humiliate women/people - it's just metal for blow up your mind.

But this' simply my opinion - nothing worth, to start a discussion about ;) ...
