Newcomer / Intro Hi any decent clans out there!

Hi all, Been playing Elite now for a week and enjoying it brings back memories from the Old Elite on my Arc but having the bonus of modern day graphics getting slightly addicted to it again. :p Just wondering as there is no main global chat are there any decent uk based clans out there would like to take advantage of the online aspect of things. Oh and btw to those player pirates who Interdicted me in my innocent shieldless Hauler while I was grinding I now have a fully fledged weaponized Cobra and going to help fighting for the Feds so be afraid. ;)

Glad it didn't put you off Open play. I now stalk and hunt CMDR's who prey on easy targets (like new starters, etc). Of course they are within their rights to shoot anyone they want. I just like to play the vigilante.

nah I actually like having online play. Even being a fan of the old Elite this one matches it very well and with modern day gaming it needs to have that online aspect I'm not sure why people are complaining about it. I had a good scrap with a Commander last night in my Cobra. :) But I guess I'm used to the aggrrevation side of this game having played the old Elite I knew what I was expecting. But the Pirates who destroyed me in my Hauler have given me an insentive on what I actually want to do in the game.

Co-op isn't that well implemented right now.

There's an update (called Wings) which should improve things and give you a better cooperative experience. Should be out by end of first quarter I think or sooner, I don't think we really know for certain. Soon-ish, I'll say.

I imagine clans will be more prevalent when that's out.
