Hi chaps PC VR questions

Hi Chaps I am migrating back to Pc from console (below is some specs)

I am wondering if I should go Elite VR will the system I have handle a hp reverb ?
How is it setting up and keeping running? In the past I have found vr a bit of a pain setting up then spending more time sorting it out than I actually end up playing a game.
( That was in part why I abandoned pc some years ago for the same reason , I.e I was spending more time getting the system running smooth than playing games and seemed like an endless task and often a bit like playing whacker mole).

I am at present working on trying to get PS4 VR to work with my Pc so I can get a bit of an Idea at what to expect from being in Elite VR .

What do regular users say about the experience of Elite VR is it really worth the extra cheddar to play in VR ? and what is the real day to day living with setting up is it really plug and play or do you spend a lot of time sorting out problems with them ?

ED in VR gives a very impressive sense of scale & the fact you are actually in the cockpit is very impressive and I would personally recommend.
I play 50% in VR, but its not for everyone, see the constructive comments in the VR forum.
Everything within your ship & SRV is true VR, everything else, ie on foot, is 2D that's the killer for some, but not me.
The game in VR is very demanding on PC hardware, you will be able to run the game but whether you like the experience is hard to say.
I use an HP Reverb and launch the game from Steam and select VR mode, Windows Mixed Reality and Steam VR launch automatically into the game.
