Hi i cannot find the option for driving the ford

That's because you can't. It's on a track, it follows the track. You can't drive it off the track. That's not how tracked vehicles work.

Drivable ford explorers was something I was really looking forward to since in the past both the gyrospheres and the jurassic tour trucks sported this feature. Unfortunately it appears this is not the case this time around. Likely their excuse is "they're on a track and can't be driven freely anyway".

Why would they ever make them drivable? It's a pre-scripted tour. There shouldn't even be a person in the drivers seat to begin with. :/

That's kinda my stance on it as well. Personally I think it's silly and makes little sense. Not to mention it's not really accurate to JP. But we can indeed just ignore it.
