FDev can stand to make a decent bit of money by making such kits available for all the ships. Customization is king. :)

Oh look, another 16 meaningless things to change the looks of the Cobra Mk 3 and the sidewinder. As if the 257 different paintjobs available for these 2 ships was not enough. Still not a single ship skin for the Corvette, FAS, or Cutter.

Well I am glad to know where Frontier's priorities are - certainly not on supporting the players that have been with them since season 1.

These graphic changes would have to be free, when the ship is improved with the engineers.

The truth increasingly less understand the policies of the company.

If you improve the thruster engines would have to enlarge or make some graphic change, but they want to pay for such things as useless.

Bah....It looks cute but the gameplay does not improve with that, I do not pay.

Just grow up. I have been playing since beta and gamma well over a year ago. My main ship is my Cobra. I still fly my eagle and sidewinder.

I quite like them. I've supported and played the game since kickstarter, and am still often in a cobra - great ship.
I've always seen paintjobs and other cosmetics as an extension of the kickstarter in some ways - a nice a cheap way to keep funding the ongoing development for some nice-to-haves that don't skew the game in my favour.
A good addition to that, i say.

Nice idea. I would pay, but I stopped using my Cobra over a year ago and never ever touched a Sidewinder since beta (as founder I started the game with a Cobra). Never had an eagly too.
So yes, a Python, FdL, Vulture, Asp X or Cutter Mod would be nice. I would buy them :)

And hopefully never ever will. I dont want to have that whole Pay2Win discussion all over again. Only cosmetic changes for real money, thats fine.

I made a quick sketch of what I'd like my python to look like:

Obviously the fins and wings don't serve much purpose. Thrusters could be mounted on the most outward points for better efficiency or something. Who cares!
