Ahh, yes - nice to see Qube in there (and still a corporate/agricultural too).

Great work Thanks Ayo!. Didn't notice the black hole, and I was about to start a list of systems shown on the video, but thankfully you beat me to it. :D

not to easy gameplay is what I like.

I smell a rat. The standard of living at Achenar should be higher. Anyone saying something else is some kind of infiltrator, and they go to the dungeons. A place with not-so high standards of living, most assuredly! :mad:

This standard of living is false for Achenar, as is it highly overrated by imperial propaganda, since dissent is savagely suppressed. :mad:

Why a new name? I kind of like Lalande. True there were a few of the Lalande's, but still. Please don't change to some silly generic name at least, FD. :)

It's the 'filthy' slaves you people constantly oppress. Never allowing them decent living conditions. We would treat them much better in our fuel plants!

Wow what is this like the second or third news letter and some really interesting bits coming out of it. Thanks for posting this info up, it takes a while for older eyes to process this, but your detective work made a huge difference. Thanks.

I am amazed by the capacity in tonnes of spaceships. I hope that these features will be revised upward in the final version

--> Lakon Type 9 Heavy (Credits: 1,200,000 Cargo Capacity: 440)
-> Anaconda (Credits: 4,000,000 Cargo Capacity: 228)
Seems like an easy choice for the discerning trader there. Almost twice the cargo capacity for less than half the price. It's probably going to be a sitting duck for pirates though! :)

I noticed that too.
What a weird disparity between tonnage and price.
Can that be right?

Btw... the MiniElite app they were running shows how easy it'll be for FD to produce a trading companion app if needed. It would be cool to dock, go sit in front of the TV with your iPad and do some trading ;)

The Anaconda must have some other benefits to justify the price tag. Perhaps it is a matter of armour or jump range. Perhaps something else entirely. But for me, and given how much profit can be made when you have enough money to buy a big cargo carrier AND have the free credits to be able to fill that hold, you are on the first step on the road to riches. Everyone else is just a speed bump! :)

The odd death there and there will be nothing compared to the money that can be made....erm, especially with that 50% insurance discount. <ducks>

Something seems off about how many jumps it takes to earn those credits: an average of 34,000 credits per jump. I hope they rebalance that, not that I don't think there should be the big bucks to be made from traders, but 34,000 credits seems like a good profit from the 440 capacity ship rather than the average profit of your lifetime.
