There’s been a bit of upset since the delayed console release announcement for Odyssey regarding getting First Footfall on landable worlds, and in one of the threads someone mentioned being annoyed at seeing First Discovered by: CMDR Bananahammock and the like - this slightly bugs me too, from (whisper it quietly) an immmuuurshon perspective.
My suggestion is this: give us the option to hide other CMDRs names and just have “already discovered” or “explored” or something like that instead of the names.
Bonus request: allow us to hide other players’ cosmetics - I personally don’t like differently coloured engine trails so I’d appreciate the option to just have default colours. The game Star Wars Squadrons has an option like this, so players can have a true-to-the-movies look and disable any garish ship paintjobs.
I have found a workaround in ED, but it unfortunately means I can’t play with anyone else in the game
