"Hide/reveal" Tool.

Just from what I've seen of the building so far it's good... But there is one thing it lacks... A "Hide" tool similar to the one used in the Lego Digital designer. (Would be really handy to have a way to "Hide" panels without moving them so that we can see inside and work on the interiors of buildings without worrying so much about selecting or moving around parts we don't want to move... And then have another button for revealing all the objects that we've hidden with the "Hide" tool so that we can get see the finished result.

What do you guys think?

Copying my post from the big feature request thread:

Display filter

Like in RCT3, but much more advanced, let us show/hide:

* Buildings
* Tracks
* Supports
* Paths
* Terrain
* Peeps
* Terrain Height
* Track Height
* Path Height
* Blueprints (if blueprints are happening the way I'm assuming)
* Zones (if themed areas get a treatment similar to the districts in Cities:Skylines)

What the OP is suggesting is a tool that hides individual objects by clicking on them (rather than one that hides all objects of a specific category), which I don't think RCT3 had. This would definitely be a useful feature when combined with more general (if slighly less so than in previous RCT games) hide filters.

Agree. Very useful

Figured I'd bring this up with an additional idea to improve on it further... With the hide tool all hidden objects are put into a list allowing us to unhide specific items, or just hit the unhide all. What do you think? I still think this would be useful tool for moving/editing objects hidden inside of other objects without having to move the object that is in the way...

Still think this is DEFINITELY a necessity!!

Check how it was in RCT2. It worked perfectly and is a really useful tool.

hiding:
- paths
- rides
- coasters
- trees
- walls
- ground
- ...
