Newcomer / Intro Hiding the HUD?

I was watching a video on YouTube, and during the video the pilot turned off his HUD (so there were no glowing displays, just his radar and the ship interior/cockpit). I've looked through the keybinds, but I don't see that anywhere. Can anyone tell me how he would have done it?

Shift-Alt-G I believe will turn off the HUD.
