Newcomer / Intro High grade data?

Most "gold rushes" for data have been nerfed to the ground. What is the best way to get high grade data in this version?

Honestly, just getting tons of Modified Embedded FW from mission rewards, and trading them, gets you a long way. You see them very frequently as rewards.

Jameson crash site is pretty good. 30 minutes you can fill up both the grade 4 and 5 encoded and then 2 jumps away you can trade it. Repeat trips needed to max everything and it's boring but easy to do.

The only high-grade data farming source which has become neutered is that of farming DWE at famine systems' distribution centres.

AEC (and AEA) are easily filled at jameson and bug-killer, MEF is still abundant at medium base data point circuits, etc.

The fact that you now can do base data point circuits on relogging rather than wait a week for refresh is the opposite of "nerfing". ;)

Some (SRV) data point scan missions give mats from the missions and data from the scans. If you find the correct station (for instance Wellington in the WH) you can stack a lot of missions to the same base and 'farm' those. Wake scans are one of the few data entries that I lack.

I'm not just talking about any data here, I'm talking about grade 4 and 5 data. I know I can trade the rest so I'm not trouble by needing any specific data.

I thought they fixed that exploit... didn't they?

Since Jameson has been maintained as has Bug Killer and even some places have been reworked (Dav's, Orrere) then I think it is safe to assume that these things are provided as "wells" of resources - so intended and definitely not exploits.

They removed the ability to "milk" HGE signal sources by relogging so if they wanted to remove that at all sites then they could - they haven't so those must be intended.
