High Intensity Res

Anybody having any luck with them today ? Been in and out of one for about 4 hours today in total (resetting instance either SC in/out or quitting to main menu about 30 times) and not one single big ship spawn, always cobras, eagles, vipers, haulers, diamondbacks etc, not one single dropship, clipper or python.

stoped bothering with res zones , now i just hunt and interdict my pray , find more higher ranks to kill and the payout is better .

Yeah interdictions are the best way to hunt for big ships. I was in a high RES yesterday though and was frequently getting large ships. I made over $2 million, don't know how long I was there though. Maybe an hour and a half?

I have been mining in a couple different Low Intensity RES. I see clippers and an occasional python. I don't remember getting attacked by a Dropship. This is all since 1.3. Because it is Low Intensity, I'm believing they skill level is set lower, but I do get the occasional Dangerous or Elite. I enter the RES, find all the bad guys to clear things out and then get to mining. Then the new spawns roll in every so often to break up the monotony of mining. I'm averaging around a million credits per run adding together the bounty and ore mined.

I used to love fighting wanted anaconda's but I haven't seen one for well over a week now.

Just spent an hour and had about 5 pythons spawn, was awesome, average bounty about 175k, best was 220k. Also found some tough wings, cobra's and viper escorts, tough work but they would total over 100k between them.

Combat Zones are the real deal now. First of all you can get some good money out of it, and secondly - the fastest combat rank gain there is. You'll meet all sort of things there, Vultures, Anacondas, Pythons, up to Elite rank.

The only thing I can't see for some reason is FDL - in a combat zone never seen one. Probably a bug?

As anyone thought about RES reserve type? I've been struggling with this issue too, but it seems i get more big spawns at Major and Prestine reserves

High intensity refers to the number of cops. In a high-res zone expect to have at least 20 cops racing you to the pirate in a sidewinder that turns up every ten minutes.

I've been having far *more* luck with RES since 1.3.

Could it be rank/ship based? I'm master combat rank, flying a Python.

I played today few hours. Earned over 6 million credit on High Res and Normal Res. I work cycle between High and Normal RES's.
And i got: Python, Clipper, Vulture, Viper, Federal Drop-ship, Cobras. < - Good combination with high bounty on both RES locations.

More cops, more minerals more bandits. Has logic, no?

Where is miners there is the rich ore such as gold, paladium. Where is the riches, there is Pirates.
Where is the pirates, there is a crime. Where is crime and bounty, there is police and bounty hunters.... BUT...

Sometimes LOGIC is defined on different way :)
