Higher Queue times over 18min

Pleased increase the queue times, so that guests can wait longer than 18 min. All my Queues are empty because the people won’t wait that long. That looks not so nice. In real parks the guest will wait 1-2 hours at nice coasters

The highest wait time was 90 min in phantasialand. Just look at only queue websites, the queuetimes are very high. 18 min is nothing
This are only the average queuetimes at phantasialand

The difference between 18 and 120 is big. Yes 18 is on the low side.

Can you not reduce queue times?
Yes but it would be nice if there is a possibility, that guest will wait a lot longer on 5 star rated coasters. I thinks it’s unrealistic if there a 8000 guest in my park and they’re only waiting max 18 min on my big 5 star rated coaster. And on some random flat ride they’re waiting also 16 min. For me that makes no sense

I remember waiting three hours when The Smiler first opened, so 18 minutes is a bit of a strange decision.

RCT3 used to have the same problem with queue lines not filling up to capacity, I think it later got fixed with patches. PC1 always seemed fine in this respect.

Agreed 18 minutes is nothing. I would hate it if I had to wait for 2 hours though I only go on theme parks during the week outside holiday seasons when the weather isn't great for this exact reason, but I know the top coasters in the top parks usually are 30 mins if not 1 hour and 30 minutes wait.

Back in the days of the Vortex at Kings Island, some days had a line stretching way back through Coney Mall that they had temporary placeable signs they'd set out with approx wait times upwards of 2-3 hours. The Beast also gets long queue times, along with lots of big time coasters (and other rides) at parks everywhere. 18 minutes is just... so unrealistic.

Note that 18 mins is the highest queue time tolerance of peeps, the average is lower...

If you're having a look at your queues, you only have to place a few meters of queue line per ride. That's not just looking really strange not filling up much more, it's making queue theming nearly useless/impossible.

I assume they were thinking about a suitable value fou queueing times to fit in game mechanics...

Has anybody checked how long average ride times?

For really good (or new) coasters (in real life) queueing times up to one or two hours aren't extraordinary. Compared to ride times about 2-3 minutes, it's 20-30 times longer than riding...

Exactly!

It's very satisfying to have the premiere attraction in your park to have enormously long lines. It's like the game is rewarding you for all your hard work. To limit the queue time to such a low amount really diminishes the fun factor of Planet Coaster. I expect the limit is there to keep the park running more smoothly, from a management perspective. If the guests are "trapped" in a queue for extra long periods, their mood will probably decrease as their need for food, drink, rest, and bathroom are not being met. But for sandbox players, who probably turn off all the management functions, this wouldn't matter. So once again, we have restrictions put on us that make the game more annoying and less fun.

According to that I also think that guest get annoyed too fast. Like in real parks with 1 hour queues, the guest maybe are a bit annoyed but there still coming. So the impact is not that high when the guest are annoyed or there have a bad mood.
