A Fleet Carrier will change a lot of the highs and lows to visit. I've just visited a new high (I think) in the system of 'SEAMAA AA-A H0' (+3474), well I say system, it's a lone star with 101 solar masses. A nice name for the Star would be 'hár' (Norse for High or Tall - being in ODIN's HOLD sector) but it has a character not found on many keyboards.
So i turned to Greek and found "Acro": Meaning 'height', extremities of a body or a tip-end.

For a moment I thought you had broken my height record without a fleet carrier. It was a very delightful moment, oddly enough. I really have wanted somebody to break it. As you say, records will fall once FC's are officially released. But it will never be quite the same. (That's not to suggest in any way that I won't be gunning for a higher system, or that FC records will in any way be illegitimate.)

Taen, may you find another higher system to challenge you without the aid of F.C!

I know this is probably the wrong thread for this, but on the way back I came across my first Black Hole (first, as in found without being guided to it), and captured this amazing image of the Gravitation Lensing effect. 'Stranaea YP-O E6-54'
