Highest earning single trip explorers

So, based on a few challenges being thrown down I'd like to propose the following challenge out to all those explorers with enough cohones to do it.

The highest earning single trip out into the black. No time frame, take as long as you like. Screenshots before and after you sell the data please, clearly showing the dates on them. I'll keep this thread updated with a list of the cmdrs that have done it and what their positions are. I'll start the list off with the 2 amazing cmdrs that have recently done it:

1. 379m - CMDR Allitnil, 14058 systems in 61 days
2. 264m - CMDR TheThingIs, 5599 systems in 58 days
3. 233m - CMDR Omega Prime, 4800 systems in 49 days (he can't remember exactly)
4. 204m - CMDR ColdFish, 4424 systems in 37 days
5. 170m - CMDR Poplin, 3654 systems in 11 days
6. 151m - CMDR Khal Rayark, 4119 systems in 38days
7. 145m - CMDR Marlon Blake, 4300 systems in 51 days
8. 130m - CMDR Pilot Mark, 3400 systems in 30 days
9. 64.9m - CMDR Dognosh, 1868 systems in 22 days
10. 55.19m - CMDR Vatrevelyan, 2993 systems in 26 days

Happy exploring :)

lol, we may need to keep bumping this as I intend to be out for a long while (depending on me not flying into binaries).

I've just started my neutron star visitation after Sagittarius A*, hopefully I can top those earnings and afford an Anaconda!

Am on my way back from a Sagi trip right now, 10k Ly to go. Went through a whole bunch of Neutrons and Black Holes, and quite a roundabout trip... will make notes, think I've already got screenshots from the start :)

I'm on day 6 of my journey to ???? where ever the solar winds take me and I see how much work exploring is compared to other forms of making $$$ in the game.... I'm happy if I can get 100LY in a day with about 10-15 systems in there.... So I see the hours these guys / girls put in and say congrats.

Operation Fathom
Deep dive 18kly in, and back.

My starting date:

Time of return (caught on video; screen cap of video):

Starting funds:

Ending funds (see upper right corner; turned in a 100k bounty so reduce figure by about 100k):

=RESULTS=
Total time out of port: 26 days, 22 hours, 6 minutes and 17 seconds

Total profitability: Approximately 55.19 million credits straight exploration + 10 million credits for Tsu reward = 65.19 million profit

Systems explored: 2,993

Haha, I wasn't actually suggesting people should do the neutron fields, only that I expect alot of people will do a fair bit at some point. I've done a few myself but seriously it's mind numbing! If you think trading is bad then it's still more fun than 4321 jump, scan, galaxy map, next system, 4321 jump, scan, galaxy map, next system, 4321 jump.... atleast in trading you get to dock :)

Personally I'm currently on 5000 systems and I'm still at 92% and finding it really hard not to head home. This challenge is more about will power and commitment (and maybe mental stability).

A better challenge is to see if anyone can top those credit hauls without neutron star grinding at all. :)

Then this is the challenge for me. I've been out since mid Feb (I'm beginning to wonder if I'll recognise colonised space when I get back), I've done no neutron/BH farming at all, and I've even been avoiding Nebulae.

The only non-sequence stars I've come across are those that have taken me by surprise on my next jump. I've got no idea how many systems I've visited on this trip, but right now my total count is just shy of 5,000, so Im guessing around 4k for this venture.

I like it when I'm pleasantly surprised by the contents of the system I jump into on my route, whether it's a nice surprise like Earth-like worlds in tandem with each other, or nasty surprises like a contact binary blue supergiant and neutron star combo.

That said, I'm going to try neutron star surveying in that area at some point - I shouldn't really be knocking these things until I've tried it. :p I won't count it towards this thread contest, though, as it wouldn't be fair. (Personally, I wouldn't count it towards my total exploration profit stats - in my mind, at least, I still don't even count Sagittarius A* towards that.)

I'm not knocking non-sequence farming either. I did quite a bit of it on my very first trip out.
It just got a bit boring in the end.

Hear hear. Especially the nasty surprises are a thrill.

I'm on day 42 of my trip exploring the edges of the galaxy.
If I make it back the payout should be very decent. I didn't do any neutron farming but I'm already at 36 EL planets and 27 Ammonia worlds, didn't count the water worlds. 4400 systems visited and 129.3k ly travelled so far.
