Highest Supercruise Speed

I believe the highest supercruise speed possible is around 2000c, though I have only achieved 1100 personally :)

I have flown for HOURS at supercruise to see what the top speed is. Seems to stop at exactly 2001c (perhaps a reference to Arthur C. Clarke's space oddessy).
Incidentally, 2001c is equivalent to Warp 9.6 in Star Trek which is the often exceeded "maximum speed" of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701D from "Star Trek: The Next Generation". So even at Supercruise speed we are moving insanely fast in Elite Dangerous.

The maximum super cruise speed achieved I believe was 2500c
This was on the way to Hutton Orbital in Alpha Centauri.

P.S. Yes it IS supposed to be 0.22Ly away from the main star, it was the same in the prequels ;)

Been there. Done that. It did take about 1hour! Never going back. Thanks for the reminder.

Ya fastest I have gone in SC was around the 2k mark. When I was getting started I was trying to find a way to a system that my sidy just simply couldn't get to. I didn't have enough fuel to jump to a system so i was like fine. I will SC to the closest one. First. It didn't work. Ran out of fuel and blew up anyways. 2nd. Now I know it wouldn't have worked anyways.
