Hilarious Encounter

So I'm in Leesti coming into George Lucas in my cobra when I get interdicted.

The pirate comes up and scans me while I pull out my guns. Now I've not PVP'd for a while and my Cobra is setup for basic NPC killing. So he states his disappointment as there isn't any cargo. I have a feeling his setup means I'm pwned if I attack but hey sod it I have 2 500k beams why not give it a go.

So as he turns away I open on him. He then writes nonchalantly something to the effect of " If you want to die I'll oblige" or some such rather arrogant remark. While he is typing im dragging his shields down and getting in position for a risky move. He fly's right up to my nose his shields are virtually down (Mine are at about 50%) and before he can pop a Shield Cell I boost into him!! BLAM!!!! LOL I'm left with 50% hull and he splodes like the bad pirate he is. 70k Bounty.. sweet.

Now I think this guy is gonna be slightly annoyed so I repair up and leave George Lucas knowing he is going to be there and sure enough there he was raging I'd cost him 400,000cr LOL! I got a bounty of 70,000 so only lost about 50k. So he interdicts me. Now I could have logged but I thought its only fair to give him a fair shot. He then wrecks me after I forgot I have shield cells (DURRRR!) and chaff (DOUBLE DURR!) LOL.

So I leave the station again and there he is again. Well I thought see if he can get me this time. He says "Payback time" Interdicts me and gives chase. Gets my shields down but I get away to another system. Maybe not this time eh?

I then pop back and have a little troll on him for a bit.

Ramming is a viable tactic when you know your outgunned. When someone is sitting in a 5mill+ cobra you know, regardless of skill, your popped (unless you have as good a setup). I was really chuffed with my perfectly timed ram, like a sucker punch on a dude mouthing off. I've been giggling all day about it. I love ED.

He's the one who put his barely shielded fighter directly in front of your corvette! Well done, good sir :D (or would the cobra be more of a corvette and the Asp more of a frigate?)

Here's a tip. When leaving the station, don't enter supercruise. Instead, go straight to hyperspace. Once you're in the next system, immediately jump again, from supercruise. If he has a wake-scanner, he could follow you to the second system, but currently there's no way to scan and track a high energy FSD wake from supercruise, so the second jump is untraceable.

I love those moments which make you giggle. Like just earlier when a CMDR in a Type 6 tried to power out from a station only to meet my Asp coming in... Oops! That didn't go so well for him (I heard the explosion, though my shields barely registered). Dude - more haste, less speed next time!

Thing is I wanted to chat (troll) him a little and didn't mind losing a ship or two if it come to it for the laughs I'd get at his raging. He is on these forums I noticed but not very active otherwise I'd say hello to him. Lol
