We chased CMDR Starmony down to the surface of Mercury. He managed to land his Conda, get in his SRV, and dismiss his ship before we could find him. We knew he was there, so we searched for over an HOUR, and then... we found him and all hell broke loose.

Benji85, this was totally consensual. I actually had to drive quite a ways to even get to where they were searching and then turn on my lights and spin around like a lighthouse to get their attention once I was within a few kilometers. I had managed to veer 90 deg. away from my initial landing trajectory during glide and landed almost an hour's drive away from where they thought I would be.
