Hip 36601 No entries for Geologic sources on planet.

So, i am in Odyssey, go to HIP 36601 looking for Tellerium. I go to C 3 B, and it tells me at the top right of my screen there are 1 biological and 2 geological signal sources. I press 1, no filters on, and there are no signal sources listed in the window except “unknown power source.” None of the bio or geo logical sources listed. I tried each filter, nothing. Did I miss something, did they move the deposits, or do I have to go back to horizons to mine Tellerium and them go back to Odyssey later?

i mean, I have 2 billion credits so I have been playing for a while, so I am not a noob.....

that wasn’t all the weirdness, but its the most important one right now.

I had the same problem searching for Polonium. Was on the planet pre-Odyssey mining happily. Loaded Odyssey, did the training, was sent back to the SRV and no sign of any Biological sites anyway. I guess they must has reset the galaxy somehow.

The new DSS system is different. Now, you must use the DSS heatmaps to find out where to mine stuff.

EDIT.: Let me explain better: When you scan the planet with the new DSS, it'll generate a "heatmap" (i.e. where stuff has possibility to be found). The top-right window now only lists how many different kinds of geological or biological features you can find on the planet. There're no more marked spots with geo or bio features for you to fly directly to anymore. (Oh and don't try using the previous geographic coordinates, they are useless as well). If you disliked that change, boot up Horizons, mine all you want, then switch back to Odyssey

Hey, Thanks. The planet screen with the blue lines on it won’t load for me, it just sits and spins. Ultimately I did go to Horizons and mine what I needed for the FSD v1 drive.
