Hire Me; Your Coders are Trash

The frequency at which I run into bugs/feature potholes that any coder with an IQ >=85 would have sealed before deploy is truly astounding. I stare in awe at the incompetence of FD coders, truly. FD, DM me to trim total waste of company funds. Some of your "coders" should be bagging groceries. But not the fragile groceries. Maybe the cans.

P.S. Graphics/Audio Department are tight. Don't bother them.

I don't disagree with you, but the last time I dissed the coders, I was handed a 2 month infraction and there is no way to argue your case now.

Pointless thread.

Games design in 2019 isn't easy get over yourself! I doubt you could code a basic website or edit a game ini file full stop. Literally have one friend in game design (graphics artist) and one in play testing (bug tester) going to link this to them for lols.

Don't blame the coders. This smells more and more like Agile to me.
Every sprint review I see across many projects displays people relying on skills they don't have, directed by people who have the wrong knowledge, managed by people who don't even know what they are looking at.

The frequency at ...

Damn! I'd love to see your resume, have a chat to your past employers, and take a look at any public code you have generated! You must truly be a God amongst Coders which the rest of us lowly bug-producing scum should be worshipping!

Whilst I agree that FDev could stand to increase their QA a bit more before making a release (-some- of the issues have been rather glaring with large-scale impacts), as well as increasing priority on some issues instead of new features, on the whole they're not doing a bad job especially considering the complexity. The vast majority of bugs seem to either be inconveniences rather than "game breaking", or not so trivial to track down and reproduce.

But yeah, good to know you'd be able to fix it all in your first week...

Key points to consider:

400 billion star systems not just generic maps that don't change.

Frontier are not EA or Blizzard in terms of size or power.

Online games are not like single player games made in 1999.

Expectation vs Reality... Elite IS the best working space sim out there.

OP is a numpty.

Thank you for your application. Sadly your application failed, we don't think you'll be a good personality fit with any of our teams. We wish you luck in your continuing job search.
