hired npc won't listen to hold position command

hired npc won't listen to hold position command when controlling the mother ship but listens just fine when he is in the fighter... i'd say he was just a      bag but all of them do it, this working as intended or it a bug? says order issued but he doesn't carry it out nor acknowledge it

I experienced this issue as well though it did not happen 100% of the time. File a bug report I say.

I've had the same problem, seems to happen more often over a planetary surface although I'm not sure if that has a bearing on it. It seems almost random,
loggin out and back in seems to fix it, at least for a while.

I got so mad I crashed my new Beluga and died to teach my pilot a lesson. Actually...I got blown up by a station for having a wanted person aboard, but it achieved the same effect... I'll miss Otto.

Sack him and get a Women Pilot. As long as you don't ask her to park, she is pretty good......
