Ok can anyone direct me to a site that give the history of the elite universe i.e. that of the federation etc from present day to when dangerous is set?

also I recall there were aliens in the original elite. Where have all the aliens gone? (I am not that bothered just want to know if my memory is correct and if they dumped them).

thanks but I was thinking more of a timeline over view sort of thing (something to read as work generally frowns upon watching videos whilst I am supposed to be working).

there appears to be a lot of fan fiction

Buy the Elite books (most are sold through Fantastic Books but you can get them on amazon as well).
There is also a wiki somewhere with an elite timeline.

I can't recommend this enough! Fantastic Books Audio is a great little company. I've always had pleasurable transactions with them, and the books are AMAZING! Particularly Drew Wagar's Elite: Reclamation (it was the first I read, so I may be a bit biased). Also, the audio books are so well done! The sound effects, music and voice acting all make you feel like you're inside an Elite: Dangerous film than just listening to a narrator drone on!

thanks that was what I was looking for.

Now I have a question on the game and exploration sort of and the alien stuff.

I think I recall someone mentioning they had reached the centre of the galaxy.

Does human occupation stop somewhere? i.e. is there a point where the star systems are unoccupied?
