I'm interested in contributing to the lore, even if only in a way that will be non-canonical. I have a big love of history, both real and fake, this comes from a love all things Tolkien, Asimov and even the bible (even though I'm not really a believer, I love the Old Testament's historical aspects).
I fell in love with Tolkien in a serious way through the appendices at the end of the Lord of the Rings when I was thirteen and I still love reading and writing and inventing 'false' histories of my own.
What I need is some resources, if any that would allow me to really grasp the current situation, even if only up to the time of First Encounters. There is a problem in the different styles of Elite and Frontier in that the world changed drastically in it's game play.
Can anyone help?
