Okay, now that I finally got my first model imported into the game.
I have a new problem. My guest walk trough the 3D model even though I have "Hitcheck_01"
Why is this?
Hmmm, guy in a video said that the hitcheck also helps guest from not walking through. I guess he was wrong. I know you have to take what you see on YT with a grain of salt. But, I thought I would check. Thanks
Prior to update 1.3 before the mass to object change that changed how LODs are loaded and unloaded. The hitbox did deflect guest. After the update guest ignored objects. This was done by the devs to remove extra collision data that made parks with tons of pieces tank or crash the game. I mean seems reasonable. Imagine calculating collision for 1 million objects in the background while still trying to run the animations of coasters and guest interactions within the parks. <-- after this change the devs gave us the guest path blocker object. Use that, just sink it under your path it will still block guest. Its hitbox is .5m above the actual object rope.
just for reference the image shows how far under ground the object is and the guest still avoid it. It uses a different kind of hitbox that we cant use with tmtk.
