Ships Hm you know what, I don't think Anaconda does have the furthest jump rang potential

Yes, they're power hogs. Power hogs is a what they are.
Worth it alright. I like that you can shut them down when required too.

Wait, you telling me they are always active lol. Well I upgraded my power plant(it didn't go over, but it literally was only a hair from going over), so I should be fine. However It's good to know, incase I want to bring mining lasers to these far off places.

Yeah, I shut mine down when I want to do an exploration pattern. I set route plotter to efficient and shut down the FSD booster. I can pretty much explore every star in the route without the nav puter skipping any.

Yea, that's what I'm planning to do to, once I get out to the area I want to be in.

Here's my Jumpaconda Exploration build: https://s.orbis.zone/9k4r

SRV, Repair Limpets and plenty of AFMUs. A full explorer kit.

Coriolis doesn't like the 4D Thrusters with G5 Dirty Drag Drives on it as you have to manipulate the outfitting system a bit to make it work, but it cruises at around 215m/s. The only thing it cannot do is boost which I have found to be not a requirement.

Hm it wouldn't even give me a option to see anything but class 7 thrusters(must have been a glitch or something). Well anyway while It's true a 7D is more thusting power then you need, but a 4...?

It must take you forever to land, nevermind lord forbid you stop at a station or carrier.

Also if I'm reading it right, although It's engineered, not sure I like that distributor. how fast does it get power to your engines. You see one of the best aspects I find, is how bloody fast the Anaconda can get away from stars. Lmao, the Anaconda literally tells gravity wells to go f them selves. It's so great

Also drop a repair or two, and get some more fuel. A engineered anaconda with a only 32 tons of fuel, is a death trap. The Fuel Rats must love you lol, uness you filter out every star not scoopable, and plot your course based on that.

The 4D Thrusters will move the ship at about 215m/s in normal space, Supercruise velocity is unaffected. To equip them you have to play around with Engineering, as well as have a very light build to start. Normally 5D Thrusters are as low as you can go.

The Distributor plays only a part in moving energy around and storing it. This build cannot Boost so the only thing the Distributor does really is determine max speed and shield strength with pip allocation.

32T of extra fuel is 100% not needed. Just scoop during each jump and you will never run out. The 7A (or B) scoop will top the tank before you can line up for the next jump. Paying attention to fuel levels is a basic game mechanic, so either you filter for only scoopables or know when to go scoop. No need for bigger tanks or the Fuel Rats unless you screw up.

I do have a small 2T tank added for ease of use when Neutron jumping. The added 2T allows the in-game route plotter to do 3 neutron jumps in a row before going to a scooping star. This just helps make the flight path a lot smoother and marginally increases your lightyears/hour.

Ok.

So you are strictly plotting based on scoopable stars then. Well I don't want to limit myself to that, and after the that happened to me today, every ship I fly, is going to use a size 6 slot for the extra 64t tank.

Today I was short on a guardian material(I needed 3 more tech components), but I was just south of my usual exit from the bubble spot. I figured no point in going to my station, just leave the bubble from here(From my station, I usually pass through a cluster of 6 brown dwarf systems, not a big deal, I have the bigger tank afterall), but this rout took me through 20 brown dwarf systems in a row. When I have like 3 jumps of fuel left, I start to get worried big time. I open the Galaxy map, milter everything but foam, it says there's only one planet near me. I jump there, the dumb navcom lied, it was yet another brown dwarf.

Now I'm predict there a 90% chance, I'll have to call fuel rats(of they'll be ed at me, when they see what they have to travel through), now I suspect I can make 2 jumps without being completely empty(just not enough to jump), so I attempt to give it one more try. I open the galaxy map, the settings are all correct, there appears to be a scoopable star 2 jumps away. I switch to the realistic map for color verifications, it seems good. I make my 2 jumps, and omfg I never felt so relieved to see a ball of burning death before :)

Um yea, I'll take the extra fuel tyvm lol

OBAFGKM are the scoopable classes so you are missing a couple in your filter.

As I said, either you filter for all scoopables, or you learn how many jumps you can take on a full tank and watch your fuel gauge. The extra 64T of fuel is ok I guess, but you are artificially limiting your range using it.

The Anaconda is NOT a death trap on the stock tank.
