What would happen to the hat during a canopy blowout? Where would it go when your helmet is on?

Fair enough. I suppose a real hat would get blown out into space when the canopy blows, so it wouldn't be there to obstruct the life support helmet anyway.
An animation of the hat being blown out into space during a canopy blowout would be a nice touch.
FDev can do this after they've developed the dancing hula girl bobblehead...
