Holographic cockpit

do you think that some of the holographic panels are irrevelent ? What i means is how can some of these exists when theres no like projection devices or sumthing ? or maybe its still good idea.

what i think is that the ship(s) cockpits are all awesomly made, but i would like to see like digital, analog, etc panels that are really there built-ins the desk. I really like the holographic panels HUD, dont get me wrong, but it feels like they are floating in the void , and at least ship manufacturers would built some real digital panels, so what you look at and press is real buttons, leds, etc.

I think the panels are meant to be 3D projections in an augmented reality produced using eye implants. They aren't actually part of the ship, rather an app in your implants.

That's what I assume anyway. :)

I dont mind so much about the holograms. But we serriously need better indicators of when landing gear is out, lights are on, or cargo scoop is out.

Going tino a menu to check is a pain. And finding out by failed supercruise or warp is also redundant.

We need some better visuals.

Even the holograms would be nice to have some sort of hardware aspect to them.
Like, what is projecting them you know?

On an unrelated note. There are no player models or placeholders in the ships even. These things have no pilots xD
Ever fly up to another player and take a peek inside you will see what I mean.
