One of the things I love about the ASP is that noise of the thrusters. I was in my space pram though and the "ole crate" was parked 1km away.

Ah screw it, its friday. On my way.
When you get there switch off the music park up in the space pram and have a listen for a few minutes. I've moved on a few systems over in the Running man sector. If you see anything scary I am only 5 jumps away.

Just tripped over this by accident testing a new ASP build! It makes weird noises like the alien artefact but deeper & slower. Looks like a transmitter ! Get your backsides over here in case its does something or something creepy happens to me

Just a quick aside, if you start seeing this problem on other planets, ships and things, ie: one vertex of a model or more seems to be waaay away from it and making a 'spike' you may want to Google for an application called MemtestG80.
I had this exact same thing happen to me while playing Mass Effect. On my old video card. The one that developed a serious problem with it's RAM which only got worse and worse.
