so I undock at Zaonce, and immediately start overheating, ship was working fine pre-patch

I overheat and explode before I can redock, lost my type6 and all the rares I was hauling... just great. thanks patch

OP - perhaps you triggered silent running accidentally?

I always check my throttle unit now after the kids;

a) left the throttle trim pushed all the way forward (undocking clamps let go, and all of a sudden I'm sailing into the cheese grater blast shield thing at full thrust...50k dmage bill
b) switched silent running switch on, almost resulted in the same thing as OP... luckily I realised and got the switch back to normal in time.
