Home From Sag A

On 5/3/3302 I made it back safe from my Sag A trip. Was a little disappointed that my almost 3 month journey only paid out about 23m credits. I was going to buy a Python when I got back but I only had 26m. I bought a Vulture and A rated it instead. My DBX got a fresh coat of red paint and is now in storage for a well deserved rest.

Congrats on making it back in one piece! Hope you took some nice screenshots :)

That Vulture will buy you a Python before you know it...

Welcome back and congrats for making the trip!

How much did you scan for that payout? I'm about 1000LY from reaching Sag A for the first time. I don't scan a ton. I get the Main star then only scan if I see a nice blue planet or if I see a few metal looking planets less then 100ls from the main star. I'll scan anything else that looks different but don't scan every system (except for ADS of course)

I'll hit a neutron field on the way back for a bit. But kinda just want to get back after the update.

An A Rated Vulture is what I was hoping for upon return.

Only 23m? You must have been just grinding out the LYs.

Congrats on the safe journey to and back Demonj00.

How many systems did you explore whilst on the trip? Most of my money was made when I stumbled across a 10k long neutron / black hole field about 2-3k under the galactic plane

Congratulations on the safe return! Enjoy the Vulture, its an awesome little ship, and as others say, it is more than capable of pew pewing you into a Python :D

Bit of a downer to only get the creds you did, I myself am only just back last week from the core, and I also earned 23 mill, unfortunately I was only away 6 days, id be gutted if it was weeks of exploring, then I sold the data to the CG that finished and earned a further 24 m for a top 5% finish, sorry old chap didn't mean to kick you when your down! Welcome back to the bubble though.

I know that field. Made a good amount of credits off it myself

I went 7k out from the bubble, didn't do much surface scanning. Fastest routes. It...just wasn't for me. So I headed back. The plan was to get to Sag A.

Makes me appreciate the dedication of those who actually manage to do it. Good job!

Congrats on the safe return!
And cheers to using the trusty DBX!!!
I got 55mil out of my trip, but I was out for about 6 months.
The Vulture is a beast! I just upgraded to the FAS last week. Made the money for that from HAZRES playing in my Vulture.
Enjoy the new ship! Don't forget to add your name to the Sag A* visitor list on the explorers forum.

That's about the distance where the space dementia kicks in! I asked myself wether to keep going or not, seen it through in the end but huge kudos to the proper explorers out there, takes a certain breed.

Welcome back, Commander. Yea, exploring is very up and down when it comes to payouts. If you get lucky and hit a ton of undiscovered ELWs on your trip, you can make bank, but if you don't find anything but frozen rocks, you get nothing. It's rough. 23 mil is more than enough to get kitted out Vulture though, and that ship is insane. There's no single NPC ship that I fear when I'm flying my Vulture. It's just so good.
