Hookworms and E. Coli

As far as I understand you get these diseases from infected feeders, but in over 100 hours playtime, mainly in challenge mode on jurassic difficultly. I've never once come across them. The only times I've got an infected feeder (about twice the entire game) have both been Salmonella.

Any advice/tips on how to get these two and which dinosaurs are best to use/most suspectible?

Are you using live bait feeders or the meat pile? I get spoiled food pretty regularly so I try to use only goats which never spoil. It seems to happen if the carnivores reliant on a feeder don't eat all of a serving fast enough so it sits out long enough to spoil (a frequent occurrence for compies cause even 20-30 of the little guys w/ a single feeder can't put it away fast enough. The fish feeders also spoil pretty frequently if you have only a handful of pterasaurs feeding from it.

Happens all the time to me. Had 3 feeders all infected within the time it took to research dig up extract and hatch a single Pterosaur on the carnivore only challenge mode.

try to give your carnivores dinosaurs as food and let the dead bodies where they are. should help

Thanks for the feedback :) after 12 hours in challenge mode (Jurassic difficulty for increased diseases) I finally got 1 infected feeder with hookworms..

Now that just leaves E. Coli? Is that from a feeder or from decaying dinosaurs? Loaded up challenge and loaded a pen with raptors and struthis/meat piles. Going to make a compy pen and I guess an aviary?

I've definitely had all 3 occur on the same feeder at some point. Not sure if carnivore or piscivore feeders have different probabilities though.

Do you recall if you got E Coli either on carnivore or piscivore feeders more than the other?

Can't believe I've struggled to come across these diseases 😂 my damn dinos are too healthy.
