Python MkII

Not much is known currently, other than it is "functionally different" to its predecessor. And will arrive sooner rather than later this year. But, this looks super nice. And is one of four new ships planned. Allegedly classed as variants.

Nah, Anaconda looks like a proper ship - the big cargo bay, the front observation deck, the back seated bridge - from where you can observe the 2 large ax mc turrets beautifully tracking their targets

The Python is as popular as it is because it's multi-role and it's the largest carrying capacity for a medium pad ship.

Well, it's no Panther, and the other three probably won't be either, as they were all called variants of existing ships. But it's still a lot better than 6 years with no new ships at all. I hope I haven't forgotten how to engineer them.

Love the look of the new Python. I'm really hoping we finally get a dedicated Large Exploration ship, with a decent view out of the cockpit.
