Horizons 2.0.3 completely screwed up the graphics in my rift

This is not a rant thread, just trying to see if anyone else is seeing issues with 2.0.3 that was released this morning. 2.0.2 was working wonderfully, I was able to run everything maxed (no SS). It was looking great, running great. Now with 2.0.3 when you start up, the horizons logo looks like it has a circle around it. Sort of like its being projected onto a sphere, and your head is too close to it and whatever is outside of the sphere is bleeding into your view. The brightness is much higher than what it was as well.

Then when go into play, the background is no longer black it is like there are smudged on it everywhere.

I am running 0.5.0.1 extended on win 7 with 359.06 NVidia drivers.

Anyone else seeing this issue or am I alone here.

Mine is running ok.
Sorry to hear yours not ok...the black smearing is normally due to gamma set too high try to bring it down a touch.
Window 7 AMD 0.5.0.1

I'm playing it with VorpX, nothing changed ,65-70fps on the planet I was landing and 75 everywhere else. settings are High.

Hmm it appears to have fixed itself. I rebooted to be sure, and it was still broken when I tried right after the reboot. I had to get back to work, tried again during lunch and it looks fine now. I don't know what happened.

I had something similar and it turned out to be windows running ED in a low colour to increase speed even though I had told it never to do that via a pop up window previously.

Seems like its in 60 hz, check the graphics option
The judder was horrific as well, thinking back on it, I might have started ED:H without turning on my rift as the second monitor, and it might have picked up my actual second monitor which is running at 60hz. Then when realized and switched on the rift and the second monitor off, it might have still been stuck in the 60hz. So I am going with pebcak in this instance.

yeah my dk2 has jumped into 60hz a few times and that gave all the symptoms you described so it was probably just that:)

actually it sounds like your tracker crashed and wasn't actually working at the time. That's what those things look like when that happens

Don't think so, I have had the tracking crash on me and everything fades a little and turns a lighter color. This was really freaky compared to that. Smearing would be the best way to describe what I as seeing when looking around at the galaxy (way out in the deep right now exploring stuff).
