Hi Folks,
Having done the Ram Tah mission and tried helping a friend with it I have some feedback.
I personally recognise how this mission and the associated mechanics could add the requested "depth of gameplay" that some have requested but the tedium of such mechanics is palpable and the rewards possibly do not match the effort involved. It is possible that some would find the tedium enough to eschew such missions regardless of the level of reward or their desire to participate.
Overall, I personally neither liked nor disliked the Ram Tah mission approach but the friend I helped was vehemently against it. I respectfully suggest that FD consider how these kinds of mechanics for exploration activities could affect the long term opinions of ED as a whole and try to avoid introducing comparable mechanics in the future.

- The matching of guardian symbology to artefacts was a little too esoteric - did not have a real problem with it myself but I can see the point made by the friend I helped
- The repetitive nature of using artefacts in the SRV to unlock multiple Obelisk data items per site is perhaps at least a little frustrating and there are possibly better options especially considering the difficulty with landing near enough to at least some of the sites.
- The unlocking of the data store at Guardian Structures was done quite well and perhaps this idea could have been used for the Obelisk data (a combination/sequence of scans rather than using SRV cargo hold based combinations)
- Perhaps the principle of the data store could have been used with different artefacts instead of the Obelisk cargo combinations
