Horizons Beta 3 - SC judder back? (Nvidia)

This seems to me to be fixed now as of Horizons beta 4 :) Happily been super cruising around without judder woohoo!

One would now assume that AMD users now have judder in SC........:p :)

Good point! Let's not make our celebrations too OTT just in case :) Hopefully all is well for everyone though fingers crossed. I hope it doesn't come back for beta 5...

The new beta takes me from 75fps on a r9 295x2 with one core (Because crossfire doesn't seem to work) down to 13 fps. DK2 no longer playable.

I haven't experience Judder in any of the betas. I have a single GTX970 OC Edition. 16gb Ram and Elite is installed on an SSD.

The judder never went away, the judder was there in 1.5 beta and all the Horizons beta. However, it's not consistent. Sometimes supercruise is perfectly smooth. Other times it feels like it's only 25 fps when you turn your head (with lots of ghosting). But there's no rhyme or reason to it. Sometimes it's smooth even though there are lots of NPCs and I'm near a gas giant rings. Other times it judders despite only 1 NPC showing on the scanner and I'm in deep space. (This is all in the same instance of the game - in one system, perfectly smooth, hyperspace to the next system, judder).

This is with an overclocked i7, overclocked GTX980 and Rift DK2, Windows 8.1 with the 0.5 Oculus runtime.

I played quite a bit on Tuesday night and never experiences the supercruise low FPS issue once. I even did a few "long haul" supercruises to stations which took about 15 minutes a piece, no slow down what so ever. In the past beta the slow down kicked in after just a minute or so of supercruising so I'm fairly happy that the issue has been resolved. I'll do some more testing over the next few days though.
