Horizons Beta?!

Bit of a numpty question but wish to be sure.

There are two options when going to buy Horizons, one is Beta with digital download. Does this mean it's playable upon immediate purchase.

It would be if it was available for download, which it isn't. Expected on Monday, although you would only have beta, you could not play any live game until it is properly released in a few weeks

Remember what happens in Beta stays in Beta. The only reason to pay for beta is if you really cant wait a few more weeks to play in the sand.
