Horizons bug

So when I tried Odyssey it was nice but when I tried Apex Interstellar long-range travel it bugged and it wouldn't let me select a drop point. Then I thought it's from Odyssey and when I switched to Horizons it just won't show the play button. Any idea how to fix this?

Known bug in Odyssey. The first time you use an Apex, you need to select a destination in the current system, not on the Galmap. In flight you can redirect to a different system, and after that it works.

For your current problem, go into Help from the main screen, then use the 'Recover to Orbit' button on the far right.

Known bug in Odyssey...

It is? I was always able to select a long distance trip at the Apex counter. There's a maximum distance that I know exists but I never had to first go local and then re-direct.
Unless this is some new bug that I haven't encountered yet. 😧

They're great for G3 hunting at Pioneers, while YT-ing.
 lmao... I just looked for an alternative...

How far was the distance you were trying to use Apex to travel, as mentioned by others there is a max distance for a single trip and if you want to go further you need to make multiple hops. I admit I haven't used Apex a lot, but I have never had this issue happen to me.

If you're in a thargoid controlled system, APEX will report every destination system as having no suitable drop-off points. What it actually means is that they're too scared to come pick you up. It's silly because it's one of the most common places to lose your ship while you're disembarked.
