Just saw on the live stream! Horizons lands on Xbox 3rd of June for about £20!

And I'll be away on holiday aargh! Won't get to play until the 5th

Gary's already said, it's dlc,so no preorder

However, the lifetime pass option is still up in the air. I'd search down the back of the sofa to scrape together the cheddar for a lifetime pass.
I do understand FDev wanting to reward those players who supported them financially from the beginning, but how about those of us who really, bloody-well wish we'd been there at the beginning. I'm going guess there's a shedload of CMDRs who'd have chucked money at FDev back when, if they'd only known.
SO, how about some FDev love for us latecomers who are more than willing to lay down our cash to support you by buying lifetime passes??!! Erm, Gary, anyone?
(Back me up, CMDRs. You feel the same pain, I know)

I too would have shelled out money if I was aware it was coming to xbox

Had I known, I would've been happy to front a decent chunk of change. I would be more than happy to shell-out for a LIFETIME of elite-ing!

Question. is the DLC gonna be bought with frontier points? from the frontier store or was it soley for ships skins with all that? I may have bought frontier points looking forward to horizions

I don't think Gary had posted his response to the question at the time of posting. I came across it in another thread, though. Due to the no preorder dlc policy at Microsoft, I wish I could travel to FDev's studio and throw my money at them that way.

I'd be curious to know which option helps out FDev more: a purchase of a lifetime pass or purchase of seasons as they are released.

I'd honestly choose whichever got more development funds to them.

My guess is that FDev are unwilling to offer a lifetime pass for an unproven platform. Once the exclusivity with Microsoft is up and FDev make their way to PS4 and can judge how well the game will do on consoles, and not just on the Xbox, then we might see one. How        would you be if you bought a lifetime pass and it ended after the last Horizons update for console? I think that is their major hurdle at this point.
