Horizons Horizons on Intel HD 4600?

Well. I, sometimes, play ED on Surface Pro 3. That's a tablet with HD 4400 graphics, so I think it's worse than 4600. After lowering detail level and resolution it isn't bad at all. Absolutely playable.

You can play, if you want staggering frame rates of about 7FPS, amazing pop-in graphics with blurring, planets that don't load in half the time, and temperatures akin to that of the core of the sun. Believe me, I've been there.

Now i'm here imagining sitting at the desk with a beeping sound and flash red lights, sparks/pops and smoke flying out of the keyboard.. and it even happens without barreling into the danger radius of a star after an FSD jump..

Does anyone know where we can buy a heatsink launcher for our gaming PC's?

:)

I've run it on the intel hd 4600 when my powersupply was failing and I had to disable my GTX 970. Run it on lowest quality settings and you'll be fine with 25-40 fps depending on where you are.
I do have an i7 4790k and 16GB 2400 mhz ram, don't know if that made the performance possible.
