Horizons on "Oculus recomended specs" + DK2?

Just wanted to know if anyone have a list of settings that can let me play Horizons, maintaining 75hz when landing on planets with minor impact on UI readability.

I currently own a i7 4790k + gtx970 + 8gb ram (w/o considering proc, is near the OC recommended specs) and play on a DK2, but I might upgrade my GPU and RAM if it doesn't cut :)

All high settings and SS @ 1.5x is just about playable with 2 GTX980's (if you can ignore the added latency SLI brings) - Horizon's surface landings can give pretty poor FPS with that hardware and the aforementioned settings applied in game....Personally I think the games needs some major optimizations at this point as I have no desire to play it on low settings with my hardware... Even SS @ 1.0x and all settings on high gives variable results at present, again FPS dips mostly noticeable on planet surfaces.

I wouldn't personally rush to upgrade your hardware right now, hang tight and see what the next few patches bring in terms of performance boosts. I remember the days when visiting RES's in VR was pretty much out of the question due to FPS drops, you wouldn't think twice about going to one now... lets hope that planetary landings get the same treatment.

So in short, nope! I don't think anyone else will at this time either.

Following this guide with the latest driver: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=121355

I only did steps 5 and 7 for the HUD colour change and Nvidia 3d settings for the Horizons executable (you have to add the horizons executable to the list manually). Works great now except for a slight bit of framerate drops when first flying near a ground structure but no more nausea for me when using the srv. You don't need DSR for text readability with the colour scheme change.
