Has an ETA been announced yet?

Also with the character creator, will we be able to change our pilot's gender?
Because I picked it as female ages ago to see what the difference was, thinking it was just a graphical option, then discovered it locks the setting

I don't know about the Horizons release date, sorry.

But I can help you with your gender issues!
Go into your graphics options before you select your play mode and you should be able to change it.
It only locks once you're in the actual game.

I believe you can still alter the setting on the main menu, iirc it's only locked when in-game.
