Best thing? Find the good in each leader. Look back on that like millennia ago Rome. Some things Carter was right about, unpopular as it was. Some things even Nixon, scandal be-damned (and I'm liberal as heck). Heck I even like GWB these days.

I campaigned for Gerry Ford. Great guy, fantastic parliamentarian. Got things done. The pardon sunk him.

Before my time but he struck me like that. Hell, not cynical like Nixon, stand up guy. Nixon is mixed, Ford like Carter, probably too honest for the presidency.
