HOSTILE Rating in fed space.

I'm in a similar position with the Federation, but it's only the System Authority Vessels that attack me. I somehow managed to go from Unfriendly to Hostile with the Feds between Gamma 1.0 and 2.0 and Neutral to Friendly with some independent systems.
I can dock without getting destroyed as the SAVs appear to have peashooters, but I'd rather not risk my ship and cargo, unless of course trading is the way to rehabilitate my rep...
The advice I saw in a previous thread was to find a Federation allied outpost (no SAVs to scan/attack you) and take as many Federation faction missions as possible, preferably to other Fed outposts or Empire/Alliance/Independent stations. Donation missions might also help speed up the process.
I've not yet managed to increase my standing though as I had an unfortunate disconnection when I tried to hand in a mission and the black box in my hold became stolen goods and all my missions were gone.

Same here, I'm just migrated to the Empire instead of trying to fix it lol
I gained this by getting caught 5 times with stolen goods, only about 45k worth of fines in total - that seems pretty harsh to get to hostile so fast.
They do let me dock and the police don't seem to shoot at me though so I could fix it if I had time.

DO faction missions for them.
I had to flee the Federation too. I was hostile with it, cause of intense bounty hunting. It wasnt a problem before Gamma 2.0, now all the factions around the system i made my home (allied to main faction, friendly with others) are hostile to me, which means i cant "DO faction missions for them" as wherever i go they simply call me enemy and refuse me to dock, even in the small outposts... I simply dont see any way of improving my relations with federation, which is quite a problem. Im in the empire now scouting for new home with some trading routes near and i cant find anything good... Since the rare commodity trading was nerfed to the ground, i see my only option is to embrace my fate and wage war against the Federation...
