Horizons Hot Extractions from Settlements

Does anyone here have a memorable story of a hot extraction from a settlement where you barely got back to your ship? I'll start:

I was hired to take down a settlement's power grid in some random system, no biggie. I landed, went straight to the generator, took it down and ran. Two problems: I was being strafed by a ship (silly me for not checking) and there were a ton of turrets. The solution? Jump off the nearby cliff. After my daring jump to the ground far below the settlement's guns, I only needed to dodge my pursuer and get far enough to recall my ship. Well, he's not very accurate so I'd best check his rank... what? I'm being followed by a Type-9 packing railguns. I just started laughing, and when I looked up I'd see him struggle in vain to line up a shot, miss, then fly over me and maybe scrape the ground as he passed because there was some actual gravity on this planet. I recalled my ship (a corvette) and did some evasive driving so I wouldn't die until it showed up. Once it landed, I drove over and got inside as fast as possible. Would the Type-9 run or would it stand its ground?

Still giggling about the absurdity of it, I engaged my thrusters and ascended into the heavens, only to see this Type-9 trying its hardest to swing around after its last run on me. I obliterated its shields within moments, but they gave it enough time to face me and fire a salvo of railguns at me. Immediately after the pilot says over comms something along the lines of "This isn't how I expected this would go!" I think he realized he was in a now shieldless Type-9 vs. a modded Federal Corvette. He turned to run, I tried to shoot out his drives. I failed, but only because I ended up killing him instead. With that, I saluted the wreck of the settlement's steadfast defender and flew back to the mission giver, ready to claim my sweet, sweet prize of four modular terminals. It was totally worth it.
