Hot or Cold?

Is there a place where I can find the ships ranked from running cool to running hot? I've read different things about specific ships, for example the DBX runs cool while the Viper tends to run hot. I would love a tool like coriolis that gave some sort of number or at least orders all the ships coolest to hottest. I'm looking at different options for smuggling.

BTW, why do factions give missions to retrieve data that they then label as illicit when you try to bring that data back to them?

Not sure you can rank ships by heat as it depends on what you put in them. If you have a power plant that just abut covers your modules needs then it will run quite hot. The more spare capacity it has the cooler it will run. This is why your heat goes down as you switch off modules.

No idea about the mission thing though. Some factions are just awkward like that.
