from my understanding due to the new more dynamic nature, these locations are updated each tick, but I do not have any confirmation on this? that was simply my assumption I got from reading and losing my own marks.
Have you tried to fire a probe at the ring again? Or maybe you are in combat mode. If they are still invisible... Thargoids and their damn barnacles, leeching all the resources ...
