When I Frame Shift jumped into the DRYEEJIA AV-Y E2 system I entered it literally through the 3rd star (DRYEEJIA AV-Y E2 C). It appears the Frame Shift Drive had DRYEEJIA AV-Y E2 B as the target star. I was so close to C that I started cooking right away, but it never dropped me out of Frame Shift Drive speed (I'm new, I don't know the proper name for it). I got quite toasty before I could get far enough away from them. If you are ever in that area, be careful of that system.

"Supercruise" or SC as many here refer to it.

I ran across a similar system a while back, and thought it a bright idea to fly between them to fuel scoop. Wrong!!!

It also depends on what angle you jump into the system from though. But yeah, jumping through stars into immediate overheating is thankfully quite rare now.
